“Bee engaged” in pollinator-friendly agricultural production

National Honey Board – World Bee Day 2023 calls for global action to support pollinator-friendly agricultural production and highlights the importance of protecting bees and other pollinators, particularly through evidence-based agricultural production practices.

Why do honey bees deserve their own day? Simple answer – they are vital to our food system. While we all enjoy indulging in their namesake, honey bees are responsible for about one in every three bites of food we eat.
