U.S. Forest Service – One of 20 national grasslands located within the western states of the U.S., the LBJ National Grasslands is a patchwork of untamed landscape located right here in our own backyard.
Located in two areas northeast and northwest of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, far enough from the cities so that the sounds of nature are easier to hear, the land offers a variety of recreational activities such as hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, mountain biking, wildlife viewing, and photography.
