TRELLIS – Food, cosmetics and retail giants are teaming up in a new industry effort to rescue some of the billions of bottle caps, lotion pumps, pill bottles and other packaging bits that regularly go to waste.
Motivated by state laws and corporate circular economy strategies, the Consortium to Recover Small Formats seek to reduce small-format plastic packaging waste, improving the recyclability of plastic and creating a viable end-market for these materials.
